On Friday 23rd January, I took the Minister for the Cabinet Office, Francis Maude MP, to visit Amber Valley CVS today to discuss their home help and gardening services, and to talk to them about their inspiring efforts in successfully recruiting local volunteers for their befriending service for socially-isolated people.
