Last week I was in Heanor to visit Salcare in support of White Ribbon Day and its primary aim of ending male violence against women.

I was joined by Heanor & Langley Mill Police SNT, Phil Cox - MARAC Chair, and Amber Sound.

Very sorry to hear that Jean Gemmell has passed away. She served with distinction as an @AmberValleyBC councillor and as Mayor after a career in education. She was also a great enthusiast for musical theatre. Very grateful for the support she provided to me and my family.

Last week I was in Heanor to visit Salcare in support of White Ribbon Day. I was joined by officers from Heanor and Langley Mill Police SNT, Phil Cox - MARAC Chair, and our local Radio Station - Amber Sound.Salcare is a local charity founded in 1977 to provide something of a “one-stop shop” of support for the people of Amber Valley and Erewash.
