I was delighted to attend the Ripley Hospital Centenary service, which took place last Friday, where I was joined by Cllr John Nelson, Mayor of Amber Valley, and Cllr Stuart Joynes, Borough Councillor for Ripley.
The service was to mark the 100-year anniversary of this vital community resource that was built using donations from Ripley’s working people.
The staff can be rightly proud of a good service and all the work they do, as can the League of Friends, who work very hard to support the hospital.
