I’m pleased that a Jobs Fair and Training Event will be taking place at Alfreton Leisure Centre on Friday, 29 January 2016 from 10am-3pm.
I’ve been working with the Job Centre, local Councils and employers to arrange a special jobs fair after Leaderflush Shapland fell into administration over the Christmas period, with the terrible result that more than 400 local people were made redundant.
The event will be open and free for all to attend, and trentbarton are kindly sponsoring the event by providing discounted bus vouchers to the venue on the day, which you can download here
There are already more than 30 local employers already signed up, such as Gowercroft Joinery, East Midlands Airport, Talk Staff Recruitment, Serco, Joseph Merritt Group PLC and Drake International.
