I was pleased to attend the Horsley Woodhouse Carnival on Saturday 19th July. Despite the weather, it was a fun day for families of the community.
While I was there, I went to visit Derbyshire Blood Bikes, which is a charity that allows out-of-hours transportation of blood to hospitals where patients need it, and carrying around baby milk to help premature babies. It’s a great example of what people can do to help local people.
You can view more information about the great work they do here.
