One of my priorities for Amber Valley continues to be tackling unemployment. Over the past few years I’ve been supportive of businesses trying to expand and create jobs in the area, and I’m building on that work by organising a Jobs Fair to be held in the Sports Hall at Ripley Leisure Centre on 6th September between 10 AM and 4 PM.
This event is open to all constituents looking for work or training opportunities, and indeed all local businesses and training providers looking to showcase their opportunities.
The event is free of charge to both constituents and businesses. There’s no need to register for attendance if you’re a constituent – just come along.
Trent Barton will be providing half price bus travel for any of my constituents using their buses to get to the Fair.
