Commissioning-New-Line

BPI Recycled Products

On 21st June I had the pleasure of commissioning BPI Recycled Product’s latest recycling line – a £1.5 million investment in Heanor, which will see the firm’s recycling capacity of contaminated polythene film waste increase by 5,000 tonnes.

It’s a fantastic investment because it brings jobs to Amber Valley from overseas. Before the move, firms didn’t have the capability of clearing paper stickers from plastic bottles and so had to outsource this part of their work.
